2020 Programs

March 21, 2020

The March 21, 2020 Branch meeting, scheduled to be held at the Cross Creek Cafe, has been canceled, in compliance with recommendations from the CDC and Governor Kemp. We regret that we will be unable to hear from Jeff Graham, Executive Director of Georgia Equality, our scheduled speaker.

April 18, 2020

Heart Helpers will feature Dr. Gina Lundberg, Clinical Director of Emory’s Women’s Heart Center. Dr. Lundberg will present information about the project to help 10,000 women with heart issues. Some Branch members have participated in this study and learned of their own heart disease. She promotes women in medicine through her involvement in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as the Georgia ACC Chair and serves on the Emory Department of Medicine.

First Ponce De Leon Baptist Church in the Family Life Center (which is located behind the church at 275 Peachtree Rd. Atlanta, GA 30305; 404-231-0375). NOTE: this is a change in venue from that printed in our handbook.
